Workers (Volunteers)

Volunteer to work with us so you can shop early... before we open to the public!
  • All you need to do to be a volunteer is call to set-up your schedule.  By volunteering to work one full day, or a total of 12 hours if splitting shifts, you get to shop early.
  • You do not have to be a consignor to be a volunteer!
  • Shop at our Moonlight Madness event for Consignors and Workers only! This event is a preview sale for you to shop at 50% off the night before the public shops at 50% off.
  • There are all sorts of jobs to be done during the season.  We have light-duty jobs as well as heavy-duty jobs... just let us know of any limitations or skills you might have so we can place you where you will be happiest.  We have lots of fun so it's hard to call it "work"!
  • Types of jobs available:
    • Unloading the trailer and setting up the racks.  This is a heavy lifting job working with our husbands.  The men enjoy working here more than working during the sale. Maybe your husband would work so you can shop!  Of course, women are welcome to work these days as well,
    • Receiving consignments before the sale starts.  This is a job with some lifting and lots of walking.  We inspect every items and then place it on the racks. These days are fast paced and never boring!
    • Working while the sale is open.  These days are usually fast paced and involve large crowds.  Jobs will include helping customers, returning items to the racks, helping with check-out, and what ever else may arise.  A few of the sales days, Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday after the sale opens, we are also receiving items so it is extra busy.
    • Organizing after the sale starts is when we sort through everything and return it to consignor number order preparing for pick-up.  This is not as hectic but very important.
    • Consignor pick-up after the sale is over.  This day is full of minor lifting and lots of walking.  The consignors come in and we gather up their items that didn't sell.
    • Taking down the racks and loading the trailer.  This is a heavy lifting job working with our husbands.  The men enjoy working here more than working during the sale.  Maybe your husband would work so you can shop!  Of course, women are welcome to work these days as well.
    • Throughout the sale there are various opportunities for light-duty jobs.  Let us know if you need one and we will do our best to fit you with a job that meets your needs.
  • We are able to be flexible with scheduling work shifts, until they fill up.  The best thing is to call early to schedule your time.  Remember, we cannon split shifts on Saturdays because they are very busy and too hectic to have workers coming and going at different times.
  • Contact us to find your perfect spot!
